What is the difference between the ZD621d and ZD621t?

The ZD621d is direct thermal only, so it needs no ribbon. The ZD621t prints thermal transfer with a ribbon (up to 300 m), or direct thermal without one.

Which Zebra printers does the ZD621 replace?

Zebra positions the ZD621 as the successor to the GX Series, ZD500 and ZD620 Series desktop printers.

Can it print 4 x 6 shipping labels?

Yes. It takes media from 0.585 to 4.65 in wide and up to 39 in long, and prints up to 4.27 in wide at 300 dpi.

What roll size and core fit?

Rolls up to 5 in outer diameter on 0.5 in or 1 in cores, and 1.5, 2 or 3 in cores with optional adapters.

What connectivity does it have?

Should I choose 203 dpi or 300 dpi?

203 dpi (8 dots/mm) is the standard for shipping labels, barcodes and most product labels. 300 dpi (12 dots/mm) prints sharper small text, small barcodes, 2D codes and logos, so it suits small labels such as electronics, healthcare and jewelry labels. 600 dpi (24 dots/mm) is for very small, high-detail labels.
