Which labels need a resin ribbon like V300?
Synthetic labels such as polyester, polyimide and polypropylene, and any label that must hold up to scratching or smudging.
Will V300 print on paper labels?
DNP lists coated tag and gloss sheets, not uncoated paper. For plain paper, wax (V4085plus) or wax/resin (V200) is the better match.
Does V300 need high heat settings?
No. DNP designed it to print at high speeds on low energy settings, despite its 390°F transfer temperature.
Is V300 UL recognized?
DNP lists UL, with file references for 3M, Avery Dennison, FLEXcon and Mactac label materials on the datasheet.
