When should I choose V200 over a wax ribbon?
When labels get scratched, rubbed, or sit in sunlight. V200 adds scratch, smudge and UV resistance and prints on more films than wax.
Can V200 print on polypropylene and polyester labels?
Yes. DNP lists polypropylene, polyethylene, polyolefin, polystyrene and matte-topcoat polyester.
Is V200 OK for outdoor labels?
DNP rates it UV resistant for outdoor applications. For harsh chemicals or high heat, use a resin such as V300.
Is V200 the "MP Mid" wax/resin?
One of our older titles called a V200 SKU "MP Mid Wax/Resin" (MPN 18108583). DNP now names the formulation V200.
