Is V4085plus the same ribbon as TR4085plus?
DNP now sells this resin-enhanced wax as V4085plus in its Versatility Series; our older listings call it TR4085plus. Check the DNP part number on this page against your reorder.
What labels does V4085plus print on?
Paper and tag stock (coated or uncoated), gloss sheets, polypropylene, polyethylene, polyolefin and topcoated vinyl, per DNP.
Is a wax ribbon durable enough for my labels?
Wax suits labels that see normal handling: logistics, inventory, retail. For scratch, chemical or outdoor exposure, step up to V200 wax/resin or V300 resin.
What does "ink out" or "ink in" mean?
It's which side of the film carries the ink. Pick the one your printer threads; the printer family on this page tells you which.
