R300 is DNP's general-purpose resin: a thin ink layer that bonds to polyester, polypropylene and polyimide and resists scratches, smudges and solvents. Edges stay sharp for small fonts and 2D codes. DNP lists BS5609.

Best for: chemicals, electronics, automotive and asset labels; gloss and matte polyester, polyimide, polypropylene, polyethylene, polyolefin, polystyrene, PVC shrink wrap and topcoated vinyl.

Both are resins with the same transfer temperature. R300 adds solvent resistance and lists BS5609; V300 is the Versatility Series resin built for high speed at low energy and also prints coated tag and fabric care labels.

Is R300 resistant to chemicals?

DNP rates it solvent resistant as well as scratch and smudge resistant.

Will R300 print on paper?

DNP lists synthetic substrates only. Use wax or wax/resin on paper.
