- The ZD510-HC accommodates Zebra’s entire line of white and color Z-Band wristbands. Z-Bands are available in a variety of sizes, from infant to adult, with both adhesive or clip closures. Z-Bands are resistant to hand sanitizers and are non-irritating.
- Barcodes on Z-Band wristbands are proven to withstand water, soap, foams, alcohol and other common solvents found in healthcare. Independent laboratory testing showed that Z-Bands were two to six times more durable than leading competitors after repeated exposure to common hand sanitizers.

What wristbands does the ZD510-HC use?
Zebra Z-Band wristband cartridges in adult, child and infant sizes, with adhesive or clip closures, in white and colors. Insert the cartridge and print; its smartchip calibrates the printer and sets darkness and speed.
Does it replace the HC100?
Yes. It uses the same wristband cartridges as the HC100 and supports ZPL natively, so existing Zebra formats carry over.
Does it work with our ADT system?
Zebra validated it with Allscripts, CareFusion, Cerner, CPSI, Epic and McKesson admission, discharge and transfer systems.
Can it be cleaned with hospital disinfectants?
Yes. The housing is disinfectant-ready and UV-resistant, and the power supply is IEC 60601-1 compliant for healthcare use.
What is the difference between the two connectivity options?
Both include USB, USB Host, Ethernet and Bluetooth Low Energy. The Wi-Fi model adds an 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 dual radio.
What warranty does it have?
