How does the ZT600 Series compare with the ZT400 Series?
The ZT600 Series is Zebra's high-performance line for 24/7 industrial use: an all-metal design built for harsh conditions, Gigabit Ethernet, 1 GB RAM and 2 GB flash. The ZT400 Series is the mid-range option.
What label sizes fit?
Media 0.79–4.5 in wide, printed up to 4.09 in wide, with continuous printing up to 150 in at 203 dpi.
What roll and ribbon sizes fit?
Label rolls up to 8 in outer diameter on 3 in cores, and 1,476 ft (450 m) ribbons on 1 in cores, 0.79–4.33 in wide.
What connectivity does it have?
USB 2.0, RS-232 Serial, Gigabit Ethernet, USB Host and Bluetooth come standard. Two open slots take a dual-band Wi-Fi card with Bluetooth, parallel, a second Ethernet port or an applicator interface.
What does TAA compliant mean?
This model meets the Trade Agreements Act, which US federal agencies require for most purchases: it is made or substantially transformed in the US or a designated country.
What warranty does it have?
Zebra warrants the ZT610 against defects in workmanship and materials for 1 year from shipment. Zebra OneCare plans extend coverage and can add printheads, normal wear and accidental breakage.
What print resolutions does the Zebra ZT610 come in?
The Zebra ZT610 comes in 203 dpi, 300 dpi, 600 dpi. This page lists the 203 dpi models. See Zebra ZT610 — 300 dpi TAA Models. See Zebra ZT610 — 600 dpi TAA Models.
Should I choose 203 dpi or 300 dpi or 600 dpi?
203 dpi (8 dots/mm) is the standard for shipping labels, barcodes and most product labels. 300 dpi (12 dots/mm) prints sharper small text, small barcodes, 2D codes and logos, so it suits small labels such as electronics, healthcare and jewelry labels. 600 dpi (24 dots/mm) is for very small, high-detail labels.
